記憶を出し入れするための装置。
記憶達は好奇心旺盛な性格なので、
こちらが油断していると すぐに彷徨い出てしまうのだ。
だいたいの者は、ニューロンの星座と間違えて、
耳穴から夜空の星々へ挨拶に行ってしまう。
もし記憶をとどめておきたいなら、
我々は一刻も油断してはならぬ。
記憶達は気まぐれなのだから。
“Your memories are full of curiosity.
If you are careless, your memories will wander and run away.
They often mistake stars in the night sky are the constellation of neurons.
Many of memories go out to the stars to say hello from your earholes,
and they never come back.
If you want memories stay in your mind, you must be careful.
Because the memories are whimsical.”
This work was made under a theme “taking in and taking out memories”.
Human always live along with their memories. Everyone is eager to keep their memories in their mind forever, however, we can not stop to forget them little by little. There is nothing more vague and mysterious than memories.
The project was started a word-based art. I had written up a very personal story about memories” after researching about a memory from the point of view of biology and philosophy, and some folk tales. The devices were inspired by the story. I designed and made the devices which can keep memories in one’s mind forever or freely take them out from one’s mind, as devices that appears in the story.
